Did y'all read that? The fairy tale retellings by Emma Donogue? I haven't revisited it in a few years, but it was the first book with lesbians in that I ever read that wasn't a horrifying Oprah's Book Club selection. (If I'm ever feeling particularly spicy I will do a post on the horrifying queer characters in cishet books of my youth.)
I read exactly a page of Labyrinth Lost and into my Kindle it went. Death magic, a quest in a fantastical underworld, and a love triangle that I'm rooting for! I'll keep y'all posted on this one.
